To realize the Mitsubishi Electric Group's corporate philosophy of "a vibrant and comfortable society", consider of social issues, we are working on social contribution activities together with our employees as part of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
"a vibrant and comfortable society" is consistent with the society aimed at by the SDGs which are universal goals. we believe that we can contribute to the achievement of the SDGs by promoting social contribution activities as well as business.

  At the Mitsubishi Electric Group, as an activity to restore familiar nature such as parks, forests, rivers, etc. around business sites, we are carrying out the "Satoyama-hozen conservation Project".
  In the Fukuyama area, our employees and their families participate in the "Kannabe-shikinomorizukuri" forest conservation project. In the Sagami area, our employees and their families participate in the "Komorebinomori-hozenkatsudo" forest conservation project.

  As part of our social contribution activities, we also focus on supporting education and research.
  For example, we donate scholarships to technical universities in the prefecture with the aim of encouraging academic research at universities.
  We also accept high school and university internships.

• contribution to local communities

  

  Fireworks in Port Festival at Kasaoka City where the head office and honsha works are located, This event is popular in the area as a summer tradition. Since its first event in 1952, It is a traditional event for Kasaoka people, and many people come from inside and outside the city. In order to express our gratitude to the local community that has always been indebted to us, Kohshin Electric have been supporting the event for over the years. We hope that our thoughts will lead to the support of local culture.
  We have joined the Mohei Industrial Association and participate in softball tournaments, bowling tournaments, and regular meetings. When a youth baseball tournament is held at a nearby playground, we will open the parking with free of charge. We are working to contribute to the local community, such as by regularly conducting cleaning activities around the factory.
